Maria is an oil and watercolor painter residing in New Castle, Colorado. Her collection of work is intended to capture that sense of being a part of the divine whole. Vibrant nightscapes explore the beauty we find when we venture into the dark and unknown, and the treasures unearthed when we are willing to know and embrace our shadow.

Colorful surreal skies are reflected in a spectrum of landscapes beneath them, a reminder that all above is reflected below and within. Saturated palettes, dense flora across textured landscapes, and oversized elements, illustrate the magic and sense of wonder we feel when we are able to step outside of our incarnated form. These experiences bring the quiet stillness of the world into our own inner space, and allow us to feel and express gratitude for this human experience.
